SAMSAS TRAUM raise a storm of contradictions with "Wenn Schwarzer Regen". The album is released with the black metal epos "Heiliges Herz" but is completely different in its content. All songs are presented with a charming minimal instrumentation consisting of guitar, vocals, a bit of bass guitar, clarinet, chimes and sometimes drums giving them a chanson-like ambience and remain in the hearts and ears of the listener. While "Heiliges Herz" stands bombastic and towering, bursting at the seams with guest musicians, production and stars, "Wenn Schwarzer Regen" is beautifully minimalist. It was recorded by candlelight and red wine in the familiar atmosphere of small studios which enables the songs to unfold their catchy character.
