‘Zerfall' is the eagerly expected second full length album by the German Darkwave act Box and The Twins, following their highly successful debut ‘Everywhere I go is Silence', that saw 3 different editions! ‘Zerfall' features 10 all new songs that oscillate between dark dream pop and wave; between guitar melodies steeped in melancholia and sombre electronic soundscapes. Above everything, Box's disturbingly tantalising voice hovers, always guiding the way into the light. The album sub-title "10 songs of Pains and Boredom" refers to the Arthur Schopenhauer quote, stating that these two are the true enemies of human happiness. The album picks up on this duality, echoing between boundaries and dissolution.
