Here now an all new album by the amazing Dark Pagan band, collecting tracks that they released digitally only over past 2 years! Munknörr is a project of Nordic and Celtic music with shamanic elements, that you would expect to come from Norway or Finland… but no: They are based in Montevideo, Uruguay! The band on the album in their own words: "Eikthrynir is an album about the circle of life and death, light and darkness, about nature and its duality... It begins with “Eikthyrnir” - which represents life - because from its horns it creates the rivers, and ends with “Andleg Umbreyting”, which means Spiritual Transformation, and represents death. Its a very personal and spiritual album where we put our fears and beliefs. In our compositions we seek for a pagan sound with a dark and mystic vibe, trying to get closer to a natural primitive sound.
