“Ships in the Night” is the solo project by Alethea Leventhal, an American 'Witch House/Vaporwave' performer from Virginia and originally a member of 'The Harrow' , a band that released much regarded albums and singles on iconic labels such as ‘Function Operate' and ‘Aufnahme + Wiedergabe' between 2013 and 2020. Her solo project is an electrifying mix of haunting, dark electronic and ethereal, ambient lullabies. Alethea Leventhal's magnetic solo project pulls from dreams, memories and echoes from the outer world to paint an atmospheric landscape with sweeping waves of synths and kinetic beats. “Protection Spells” is her third regular album and the first for Metropolis Records.
