An album four years in the making. It tells a story of growth, a story of life, loss, love, tears, laugh, heartbreak. And so we spend our days sinning. The sin of being happy in a world filled with sadness, the sin of moving on from pain while others can't, the sin of feeling sad in a world filled with love, the sin of loving how we want and who we want. The many mistakes we make, the sins we might commit, are part of growth, or life, or being human. I believe imperfection makes beauty. This album was for me, and now, it's for you. The party in Hell shall be fun; I'll bring the music! Bleak, post-apocalyptic soundscapes powered by electro pop biting synth lines and minor scale hooks fuel the sound of S Y Z Y G Y X, the moniker to the solo project of Luna Blanc, based in Washington, DC. Founded in 2018, originally as a Duo, S Y Z Y G Y X's music evolves from one album to another, as Luna likes to experiment with sound, regardless of what genre it's supposed to belong to. S Y Z Y G Y X's debut EP was released on Cleopatra Records in 2018. Followed by some EPs (united on ‘The Graveyard Compilation' album, now deleted), the full length debut “Fading Bodies” on Negative Gain (US) and Cold Transmission (EU) came out in October 2019 to worldwide acclaim! She released a single “Cold Touch” in June 2020 that was soon after followed by her album „(Im)mortal“, released under Cold Transmission Music in December 2021. S Y Z Y G Y X is a 2-piece live show. Luna is a solo producer but tours with Corey, her partner in crime, life, and stage. Throughout 2022 they toured extensively through the USA, Canada, Middle America and Europe including the legendary Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig/Germany. After also touring USA and Europe in 2023, followed by two new songs on the compliations by Rebeka Warrior and Cold Transmission's Zeitgeist Chrome as well as a collaboration release with Nightcrawler in 2024, S Y Z Y G Y X took a creative break to focus on her new material, that is included in this long 16-tracks (!) album! S Y Z Y G Y X will return to European stages from mid August to beginning of September! “Syzygy is a space term, it means the alignment of celestial objects (one example is an eclipse), to me, it's the alignment of sounds that make the music.
